Torched Lemon Meringue Cake

Price per head: €150

What you will need to bring: An apron.

Each participant will learn how to create their very own torched lemon meringue cake, from start to finish. We will begin the class by baking the lemon cake sponge, we will also make a lemon curd, a vanilla bean buttercream and finally a swiss meringue.

Each student will learn how to trim, stack and crumb coat their own cake before finally coating the cake in a swiss meringue and torching it. We will also demonstrate the correct way to safely prep fresh flowers for decoration purposes and lastly we will finish styling the cakes with fresh flowers, fruits and dried flower petals.

The class will also include a light afternoon tea of both savoury and sweet treats all made in house.
